On Friday 28 October, Prime Minister Māris Kučinskis met with Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze in Rīga.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the bilateral issues between Latvia and Ukraine. A particular focus of attention was the opportunity to enhance economic cooperation. The Prime Minister expressed the support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as reiterated Latvia’s further support to Ukraine

M. Kučinskis also noted the progress in the implementation of reforms in Ukraine, and called for further efforts.

From 27-29 October, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze is paying a working visit to Latvia. Within the framework of the visit, she will participate in the discussion about Ukraine at the Riga Conference. 

Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze Ukrainian has been in the post of the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Issues since14 April 2016.
