On Tuesday, 6 December, Prime Minister Māris Kučinskis will hold a meeting with Viktoras Pranckietis, Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania.
During the meeting, the officials plan to discuss the issues of mutual cooperation and further development perspective.
The officials will also address regional transport and energy projects, the security situation in the region, as well as current developments in the European Union.
Lithuania is the major trade partner of Latvia, one of the largest investors. In addition, the number of Lithuanian tourists in Latvia is increasing.
