On Tuesday, July 7, Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma will participate in the plenary session of the European Parliament (EP) in Strasbourg, during which she will present the progress made during the Latvian Presidency of the EU Council and will answer the questions posed by the Members of the Parliament.
At the press conference on the results of the Latvian Presidency of the EU Council held on 29 June, Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma stressed that the experience and contacts gained will be used for the purpose of better representing the interests of Latvia.
