A meeting of the Prime Ministers of the Baltic countries will be held in Tallinn

On Thursday, November 10, a meeting of the Baltic Council of Ministers will be held where the Prime Ministers of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia will discuss the common transport and infrastructure development projects, energy issues and other current developments in the region.

Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis, Prime Minister of Estonia Andrus Ansip and Prime Minister of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius will address the economic development of the Baltic region and countries of the Eurozone.

Vice – President of the European Commission and Commissioner for Transport Siim Kallas will also participate in discussions.

While at 16.30, at the press conference, the Heads of Government of the Baltic countries will inform the media about the issues discussed during the meeting. The press conference will be held in the Estonian History Museum (Tallinn, 17 Pikk). The Prime Minister will return to Latvia on Thursday, November 10.

About the Baltic Council of Ministers:
The Baltic Council of Ministers (BCM) is an institution for intergovernmental cooperation between Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. It was established on June 13, 1994. The main task of the BMP is to ensure continuous cooperation of the countries at the executive level. The Heads of Government of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia hold regular meetings within the framework of the BCM to exchange information on topical issues and to discuss the countries’ cooperation at the regional level and in different international organizations.

The previous meeting of V.Dombrovskis, A.Ansip and A. Kubilius was held on February 10-11, 2011, when the informal meeting of the Prime Ministers of the Baltic countries was held in Vihula (Estonia).
