On August 27-28, an informal meeting of the Prime Ministers of the Baltic countries will be held. The meeting will be attended by Prime Minister of Latvia Valdis Dombrovskis, Prime Minister of Estonia Andrus Ansip and Prime Minister of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius and their respective spouses. During the meeting, which will be held in an informal atmosphere, the Prime Ministers will have an opportunity to discuss the current issues of Baltic cooperation.
The Prime Ministers will meet media representatives in a press briefing that will be held on Sunday, August 28, at 10.30 a.m., in the premises of the art museum “Rīga Bourse” (6 Doma Square). The informal weekend meetings of the Prime Ministers of the Baltic countries are traditionally held once a year in one of the three Baltic countries. The previous informal meeting was held in 2010 in Tartu, Estonia. In 2009, the Prime Ministers of the Baltic countries met in Nida - a resort town in Lithuania.
