On Wednesday, June 29, Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis will pay a working visit to Lithuania, where he will meet Prime Minister of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius and congratulate the best Latvian entrepreneurs operating in Lithuania – the winners of “Namejs Award 2011”. The Prime Minister will also visit the plant of the company “Latvijas finieris” in Lithuania and participate in the opening of the representation of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia.

Prime Minister V.Dombrovskis will return to Latvia on Wednesday, June 29.
“Namejs Award 2011” is a competition and award giving ceremony in honour of the best Latvian enterprises operating in Lithuania. It has been organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia to Lithuania in cooperation with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania for already the fifth consecutive year. The objective of the competition is to confer a distinction to the most successful Latvian enterprises operating in Lithuania and promote export of Latvian goods to Lithuania, as well as to improve competitiveness of Latvian enterprises in the Lithuanian market.
