29.10.2010 In the European Council, the Prime Minister emphasizes the impact of the pension reform (introduction of the second pension level) on the formation of the budgetary deficit
On October 28-29, the European Council meeting was held in Brussels and Latvia was represented by Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis. The agenda of the European Council included the policy for the EU economic governance, preparation for G20 Summit, the Cancun Conference, as well as the EU-USA, the EU-Russia and the EU-Ukraine summits.
