On Thursday, February 18, Valdis Dombrovskis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, held a meeting with Irena Degutiene, Speaker of the Seimas (Parliament) of the Republic of Lithuania, during her working visit to Latvia.
On Thursday, February 11, Valdis Dombrovskis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, participated in the informal meeting of the European Council which was focused on the EU 2020 strategy and the situation in Haiti, as well as the economic situation in Greece.
On Wednesday, February 10, Valdis Dombrovskis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, sent a letter of congratulations to Andris Piebalgs and José Manuel Barroso concerning the convincing approval of the new European Commission.
On February 10-11, Valdis Dombrovskis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, will participate in the informal meeting of the European Council in Brussels; it is planned to discuss the EU 2020 strategy, the climate change policy after the Climate Conference in Copenhagen, and the situation in Haiti.
