On Wednesday, January 20, Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis will meet representatives of the Latvian delegation to the Baltic Assembly to discuss the topical issues of Latvia’s presidency of the Baltic Council of Ministers and Baltic Assembly.
The meeting of the Prime Minister and Latvian delegation to the Baltic Assembly (BA) will start at 15.30 in the Prime Ministers’ Hall (3rd floor of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers). A photo and video opportunity is planned at the beginning of the meeting.
The Latvian delegation to the Baltic Assembly is represented by Ērika Zommere, President of the BA, Chairperson of the Latvian delegation to the BA, Jānis Reirs, Vice Chair of the BA, Baiba Rivža, Chairperson of the BA Education, Science and Culture Committee, Sarmīte Ķikuste, Chair of the BA Environment Protection and Energy Committee, Vents Armands Krauklis, Chairman of the BA Economic Affairs, Communications and Informatics Committee, Silva Bendrāte, Chair of the BA Social Affairs Committee, Valērijs Agešins, Member of the BA Legal Affairs and Security Committee, Ivans Ribakovs, Member of the BA Social Affairs Committee, Member of the Budget and Audit Committee, Jakovs Pliners, Member of the BA Education, Science and Culture Committee and Pēteris Tabūns, Member of the BA Education, Science and Culture Committee.
We have already informed that from January 21 – 22, a meeting of the Baltic Council of Ministers will be held. The focus of meeting will be on strategic cooperation of the Baltic and Nordic countries, economic stabilization, competitiveness and security of the Baltic countries. The meeting will be held in Mežotne Palace, Bauska region.
