Next week, on February 18-19, Ivars Godmanis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, will pay a working visit to the Republic of Belarus.
It is planned to meet Sergey Sidorsky, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, in order to discuss the topical issues of bilateral economic cooperation in such areas as transport and transit, energy, production, trade and cross-border cooperation. The sides will also formally exchange notes on the completion of the border demarcation process.
It is also planned to hold a round-table discussion of Latvian and Belarusian business representatives which will also be participated by the Prime Ministers of both countries. The Latvian Prime Minister will also visit the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), the multi-functional culture and sports centre Arena Minsk and the National Library of Belarus.
