The Prime Minister will pay a working visit to Poland |
| On December 6 this year Ivars Godmanis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, is paying a working visit to Gdańsk, city of the Republic of Poland, in order to participate in a meeting of the heads of government of four Visegrad States, three Baltic States, Bulgaria and Rumania with Nicolas Sarkozy, Acting President of the Council of the European Union. |

The Prime Minister met his Baltic counterparts in Tartu |
| On November 20-21 this year, Ivars Godmanis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, participated in the annual meeting of the Baltic Council of Ministers which was also participated by Andrus Ansip, Prime Minister of Estonia, and Gediminas Kirkilas, Prime Minister of Lithuania. |
