Ivars Godmanis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, has sent a letter of condolence to Yulia Tymoshenko, Prime Minister of the Republic of Ukraine, in connection with widespread flooding during the last week-end causing severe destruction of settlements and infrastructure and death of several people.
Ivars Godmanis has extended condolences to relatives of the killed people and to all victims of the disaster on behalf of the Latvian Government.
