Due to a traffic accident which took place today, on June 18, Ivars Godmanis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, will not participate in the meeting of the European Council in Brussels. The Latvian delegation in the meeting of the Heads of the European Union States and Governments on June 19-20 will be headed by Māris Riekstiņš, Minister for Foreign Affairs.
