Tomorrow, on June 4, Ivars Godmanis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, will meet Igor Shuvalov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation. I.Shuvalov will pay a visit to Latvia in his capacity as head of the Russian delegation for the Summit of the Council of the Baltic Sea States.
The meeting will take place at 4 p.m., in the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia, 3rd floor, in the Prime Ministers’ Hall. A video and photo opportunity is planned at the beginning of the meeting.
During the meeting, officials will discuss the development of bilateral relations of Latvia and Russia, and the situation concerning preparation of draft agreements. They will also concern the organisation of bilateral visits, as well as the priority issues to be dealt with by the Latvian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission.
