On Monday, May 28, Aigars Kalvītis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, will pay a working visit to Berlin in order to meet Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, and to discuss further progress of the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe.
This issue is one of Germany’s priorities during its EU Presidency, and before the European Council meeting in June German Chancellor Angela Merkel who is also the Chairperson of the European Council organises bilateral consultations with Member States on the Treaty for Europe.
Latvian Prime Minister Aigars Kalvītis will return in Latvia on May 29.
