| Today, December 14, in Brussels, Aigars Kalvītis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, participated in the meeting of the European Council, where the heads of states and governments of the European Union discussed internal and legal affairs, external relations, as well as creation of “reflection group”, which would study issues related to European future. |

| On Wednesday, December 12, at 11:00, in the Press Conference Room of the Cabinet of Ministers (floor three, in the Cabinet of Ministers) Aigars Kalvītis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, and Māris Riekstiņš, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, will hold a joint press conference on the Lisbon Treaty (the Treaty) which will be signed by the Heads of European Union (EU) States and Governments, and Ministers of Foreign Affairs, on December 13 this year in Lisbon. |
