On Monday, January 22, Aigars Kalvītis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, will meet Carl Bildt, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, who is paying a working visit to Latvia on January 22-23, during their working dinner.
During the meeting it is planned to discuss bilateral relations of Latvia and Sweden, development of the Baltic region and topical issues of the European Union (EU): further progress of the Constitutional Treaty of the EU, events related to the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, safety of energy supplies, foreign policy and other matters.
