On Monday, December 18, at 11:00 a.m., in the premises of Reval Hotel Latvia, Aigars Kalvītis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, will participate in the annual meeting of Latvia’s ambassadors and discuss topical foreign policy issues. Before the meeting a TV and photo opportunity is planned.
Latvia has as much as 34 embassies, seven permanent representations, a consulate-general and three consulates in foreign countries. The embassies and permanent representations consist of 36 ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary, and 11 of them have been assigned the function of non-residing ambassadors in other countries.
