Today, July 31, a one-day working visit to Latvia of Gediminas Kirkilas, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, is taking place.
At 1:30 p.m., in the Library of Hotel “Bergs” (Elizabetes Street 83/85, first floor), Gediminas Kirkilas will meet Aigars Kalvītis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia. Before the meeting, in the lobby near the Library official photos will be taken, and at the beginning of the meeting a TV and photo opportunity is planned.
Aigars Kalvītis will host a working luncheon in honour of the visit of the Prime Minister of Lithuania.
After the luncheon, at 3:20 – 3:30 p.m., a press briefing of both Prime Ministers will be held in the Conference Hall of Hotel “Bergs” (first floor).
During his visit to Latvia the Prime Minister of Lithuania will visit the Embassy of Lithuania in Rīga, the Lithuanian Secondary School and meet its Director Aldona Treija, and also go to the recreation centre “Joker” (Katrīnas dambis 12), where a meeting with Lithuanian businessmen is planned.
After the meeting, at 6 p.m., in the recreation centre “Joker”, a press briefing of the Prime Minister of Lithuania will be held (for additional information, please, call the Embassy of Lithuania, mob. ph.: 29139318).
After the press briefing, at 6:15 – 6:35 p.m., Gediminas Kirkilas will open the photo exhibition of Lithuanian photographer Rimantas Dichavičus. A TV and photo opportunity is planned.
