Continuing his visit to Poland in connection with celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Solidarity movement, Aigars Kalvītis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, today participated in the official dinner hosted by Marek Belka, Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland. This evening, the Prime Minister will also sign the Chart of Foundation of the European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk. In the signing ceremony, speeches will be given by Polish officials - the former President of Poland Lech Walesa, Prime Minister Marek Belka, and other high-level Polish and foreign officials. The document will be signed by more than 50 participants of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of Solidarity from Europe and the United States. The Prime Minister will return to Latvia on Thursday, September 1.
