On Tuesday, July 19, Aigars KalvÄ«tis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, met Tadeusz Fiszbach, Ambassador of Poland to Latvia, who paid the Prime Minister a farewell visit prior to the end of his diplomatic mission in Latvia. During the meeting, the Prime Minister thanked Tadeusz Fiszbach for his unselfish work and personal contribution in performing his duties in Latvia. In particular, Aigars KalvÄ«tis thanked the Ambassador for promoting the activity of the Polish community in Latvia. The time of Tadeusz FiszbachâÀ™s service in Latvia coincided with an important period in LatviaâÀ™s way to NATO and the European Union. Aigars KalvÄ«tis noted that Poland has always supported Latvia and has been a reliable ally and cooperation partner in both organizations. During the conversation, bilateral relations of Latvia and Poland were discussed, as well as economic and political contacts and topical issues of the EU and NATO. The Prime Minister wished Tadeusz Fiszbach success in his future work.
