This evening Aigars Kalvītis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, is setting out for Copenhagen in order to participate in a meeting of Prime Ministers of the Baltic States and Nordic European Union (EU) Member States scheduled for June 10. In the morning, at the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in Denmark, Aigars Kalvītis will meet Prime Ministers of Estonia and Lithuania. Later in the afternoon, at the Marienborg Castle, the Latvian Prime Minister will participate in informal meeting of Prime Ministers of the Baltic and Nordic EU countries before the European Council on June 16-17. The focus of the meeting will be on the Constitutional Treaty of the EU and Financial Perspective for 2007-2013.
