On Wednesday, February 23, Aigars Kalvītis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, has invited Catherine Todd Bailey, Ambassador of the United States of America to Latvia, to go on a visit to Jelgava and Bauska districts. During the event Aigars Kalvītis will introduce Catherine Todd Bailey with Latvias cultural heritage by visiting the Rundāle palace and Mežotne palace, as well as the farm Rudeņi in Jelgava District. During the visit Aigars Kalvītis and Catherine Todd Bailey will in informal atmosphere discuss questions concerning cooperation between Latvia and the United States. Representatives of mass media will have an opportunity to participate in the visit. For a limited number of representatives of mass media transportation will be provided. Departure will take place at 7.50 a.m. from the Cabinet of Ministers (36 Brīvības Boulevard). Representatives of mass media willing to participate in the visit, please, apply by Tuesday, February 22, 12.00 p.m. to the Communication Department of the State Chancellery.
