The State Chancellery of the Republic of Latvia is honoured to announce an international conference on Public International Treaty Law to be held on October 30-31, 2008, in Reval Hotel Latvia, in Rīga.
The conference will address the topical issues of theory and practice of the public international treaty law in the light of the Vienna Convention on the Law of International Treaties.
The conference is endorsed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia I.Godmanis.
The conference will welcome internationally recognised lawyers from the most respectable universities in Europe, well known practitioners of the United States of America, as well as the official representatives of some international institutions (for instance, of the Office of Legal Affairs of the United Nations).
The working language of the conference will be English. A simultaneous translation into Latvian language will be provided.
